…today is FED DAY…the DOW came very close to getting the triple point move yesterday, minus 90 something, today the S&P 500 is looking rather spicy, oh and look, it’s at 1540. I do not like the Fed release at 2:15pm. It creates volatilty at the time of the day when trends seem there strongest. But, to be out lately has been to miss huge moves. Today, my plan is to set up as usual, then be ready for the 1st move in my desired direction at 2:16pm. I don’t want to be in waiting for the news…I’ll be back with a list… JW

…Man, the Fed statement isn’t until tomorrow. I thought it was today. Either way it is a big deal. I don’t think however, that that means today and tomorrow are dead money…

…speaking of dead money. I wish it was that simple. Not alot of anything out there today. BA Boeing looks possible, but most stocks, not all, are setup with a Monday high above where they trade right now, and no real targets to run at even if they got above Monday’s highs. That does not leave a great outlook for the rest of the week. Basically it’s easier for stocks to go down than the potential for going up. In the multi week view that’s OK, but I just like setups every day, and we are not going to get them this week. Trick or Treat, unfortunately I think Trick will rule the week.

…Monday. Each week I start off my Monday by explaining how much I don’t like Monday’s. Today may not be so bad. All the major stock index’s are looking capable of good things, even ahead of tomorrows FED MEETING. My propriatary quantatative analysis says so, so you had better pay attention. …my last couple entries got erased, and let me tell you, the wisdom….Anyways, how about that Wednesday low I’ve been screaming about. Can make for a great trading day ahead. Today is all green, and there are already some stocks forming very well…I’ll get them up soon…
…Dave, MSFT, WOW….If the stock can hold in this area, or just above 35.00 until 12:00pm or so, it may be a great chance to get into and get back to the high by the afternoon hours…maybe a little extra cash ola’… The S&P 500 is up almost 11 points, but it had better hold here at 1525. If it does it will blow to the upside pretty clean. Below 1520 brings some problems. Right now

…after Wed. low today has a real nice chance to go places up. Today or tomorrow has plenty inplace for a move higher. Plenty of targets ahead, and that bounce off of 13500 could not have been stronger. I’ve been thru my day’s list and a number of candidates come up. This list needs to be cut down but here is the results @ 11:36am:

…lots of oils and CNQ is a nice trading stock…I have to work on narrowing down, or have the market narrow down my list

…Dave, 2:30-2:45pm was a good time to survive, and thrive! MSFT just spanked a new high for the day. Ther is very little weak money left in this stock. I will continue to ride this, but I am pulling up a stop with it… this is a 5 year high on MR. SOFTY. Target = 32.40, that would do it for me…

…I have got to find a way to stay together at 2:30pm. The trades have been incredible just at the time I can’t. It is essential to be ready and active at this time. Many awesome runs are just cranking…CNQ DVN are going crazy higher…………..DAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM…just a little frustration.
