…Thursday morning, the last trading day of July…

…Jim Cramer, MAD MONEY, we all know him, calls the bottom in stocks last night…interesting…even without a bottom there is still lots of upside potential without having a bottom in place…
..I do not see anything that would lead me to believe we are now in a bull run…but I’ll be an observer…as I have seen, there is not much credit given when you make the exact big call, so that only leaves being wrong…
…Cramer says GOLD is done, and I have a large gold trade on…it was real close to being done yesterday, but GLD and gold fought back to still look alive….that is just a trade, and I will add a lot more if GLD and gold achieve some success…with or without the opinions of MR. Cramer….

…to start, oils are done for me for day trading.. my buddy Dave crushed the DIG proshare oil stock yesterday for a gigantic move….but nothing for me today…now my other list of non-oils…

…a few stocks look possible, but they will have to make it thru the early afternoon to go further… , which doens’t mean much considering only 1 day trade this month…I did miss the first week on vacation, but it was July 4th week…
…last month finished at 1280…right now at 1283 with the month closing out in 5 hours…

…good morning. My early attention is to gold this morning. I took a position last Thursday, thinking the bull would hold through the month. Today Gold is getting hammered and I am on EXIT alert big time…Dennis Gartman, big Gold investor, has been long gold for 4 years, today he announces he is out…thanks Dennis… either way the commodity will go its own way, with or without him. I’ll need a rally form these lows in GLD by 12:00pm or I’m out…
…enough of that…on to today and the day trading account…

….the market is feeling itself out…DIG < DUG<DUDE…my buddy DAVE (bigdfromtheeastside) bought some DIG proshares and they are on fire…that ultrastock moves 5-10 dollars a day!

…my long term gold project w/ GLD and trade is making an attempt to stay in the game…by noon I have a target for the GLD which is down 1.92 @ 88.66…if it meets its target it will buy a few more hours, but prove itself it must, or it is GONE>>> …

…maybe today will bring a trade! …but yesterday, Monday…did a lot of damage to setups… 1 trade so far this month.

…DOW +167 (11,297) S&P 500 +17 (1251) ….
…the markets are cooking, but my list is not…one stock HIG and at 62.74 it is a lower prices stock than I usually play with… my filter is set up at stocks above $69 a/share…but so many of my list have fallen, ..and such it is with HIG…

…it doesn’t seem like very good things lie ahead today, even stocks like AMZN, CAT MT and DE which looked good early, have fallen too far back today to keep them on my list…

…It’s Monday. 52 times a week, unfortunate. Worst trading day of the ….week. Right at the open, this Monday has shown its colors. Oil or commodities stocks are the only chance today. How could i say such a thing :10 minutes into the trading day. See every other Monday blog for that answer. There is/are exceptions, but todays chance at that exception is already gone….

…the month ends on July. Your positions, should close higher for the month if your looking for strength. I entered a GLD position knowing it has 5 trading days to prove itself…GLd need to close above the 91.40 monthly close or covering will be in order…

…Only on this blog has anyone ever even mentioned how bad Mondays are…NO ONE….no one speaks about the ogre that is Monday, maybe they should…

…I’m here…I had some computer problems, now they are fixed…my list is mostly oils, as yesterdays action ruined most setups for today as well…Funny, yesterday seemed very orderly and casual…on Monday I mentioned that the markets where making a weekly high for the first time in months, and watch how it reacts to such a move…S&P 500 closed last week at 1260, and I think next week is even more important with the trading month ending on Friday…

…I am jumping into the gold market, actually I’ve jumped…I bought almost $30K in GLD tracking stock yesterday…average price around 91.40…I need it to perform by the end of next week to stay long, which I hope to be for a number of quarters…$1,000 is my first target for gold…yesterday gold closed around $922 an ounce…

…todays list soon… the problem with my list is that the oils look good, but they have no real compariable days up in the last 3 months to hope to repeat…that makes sense to me, but it is just one of my rules…just look at 3 month charts on the oils…
…my list is totally empty right now…nothing!
